An Unsung Song, For An Unmotivated Populous

Murder

was never

a moral action

Neither was

enacting faith.

Everything

will come

in passing

What dies tomorrow,

dies

today.

And I can almost hear

their footsteps,

 More people fall

than grains

of sand

Lost among

a sea

of voices

Nothing left

to say

was said.

King of crows,

Son

of infamy

Am I doomed

to eternal misery

I don't want

live in misery.

A generation

full of empty faces,

Connections lost

along the way.

Searching for

what's always missing,

A life beyond

the life we take.

As the buildings blaze,

they spread

the ashes,

And children cry

with no complaint.

Starvation on

their dirty faces.

Fingers to

the police

state.

King of crows

Son

of infamy.

Am I doomed

to eternal misery?

I don't want

to live in misery.
