Happy to have found this one. It symbolizes a split personality or in an even more abstract way it shows inner conflict within one person and how there is the possibility to detach from your own truth and be in denial until it's too late.

The endless fall into my soul
I never seem to do it right
This poisonous feeling is eating me whole
I'm falling away from the distant light

A schizophrenic split in my head
I look down the hole, too dark to see
I feel all his pain, he's still not dead
After his impact that was destined for me

I realize it then as I lay on my back
I was waiting for the other but he never came
The fall was long and I couldn't keep track
But I closed my eyes knowing we're one and the same.
