When I was 16, I was able to grasp and capture in writing, in form of a short poem, for the first time that I have a tendency to get myself into an emotional tug-of-war within relationships. This rarely isn't true for me even today.

Love tastes like a lemon slice

Not only one flavor of its kind
But twice
Sweet and sour both are among
The relationship of lemon and tongue
With the sweetness very kind
Though sour never leaves
It does refresh your mind
For both are loving thieves
With the mixture of these flavors strong
Only few can keep a lemon in for long.
