When You Wish Upon A Star

We lie on the grass,
looking up at the sky,
reminiscing about
The days gone bye.
We talk about marriage,
and wedding rings,
we talk about life,
and so many other things.
I tell you about my life,
and, when I lived on the skids,
we talk about "us,"
Do we want to have kids?
Lieing beside you,
I give you a kiss,
knowing we may never
have another perfect moment, such as this.
A group of stars,
you say, "Cool! It looks like a fish!"
Picking one out,
you make a wish.
You wish for many blessings,
from the precious Lord, up above,
you wish to keep me,
for a lifetime of love.,
You look at me, and you smile,
and you ask, "what about you?"
I smile, and I say, "You are the love of my life, dear,
my wish has already come true."
