That thing in the mirror is a sack of skin
It's gangly and loose, swinging all about
Eyes are dull and loll from side to side
My god, it's out of a horror story
Oh fuck, wait a minute
That's me

I'll cry every night knowing it doesn't fit right
It'll drive me insane one day, I swear
I doubt I'll ever fit into this skin
And no, it's not a matter of just growing up
Ya see, the problem here
Is me

Next day we'll run the same damn routine
Here comes the silent shriek of terror
There go the tears of self loathing and mutilation
I'd be fixed it it weren't for all these scars
So, no one is to blame
But me

Years pass by with that same charade
If it weren't for bad luck that mirror would be gone
I'd shatter like how my heart and soul crumbled
No good ever comes of this fucking cycle
Yet again to the blade
For me

Though here's another day where the world seems to stop
There are no tears nor horrific screams
Those dull eyes are birght and beyond transfixed
It's amazing what one day can possibly do
Who the fuck is that girl?
Oh wow, it fits me.
