Here we lie
Not living, not dying
Breathing, but not trying.
In our crypt, in our tomb
In our first home, in the womb
We’ll be going home, oh, so soon.
We walk around … walking … walking
We talk around … talking …talking
We walk, but we don’t go anywhere
We talk, but we don’t get somewhere.
Monotony overrules everything
Free will; it has no meaning
We are ruled by one great King
The one who plans to set us free.
With means unknown to anyone
He rides with fate like Apollo and Sun
He is God, he is Satan
He is Heaven, he is Hell
He is the happiness we have chosen
He is the misery that befell
With wide, open arms
And a cold, mean heart
He welcomes and rejects
For, He, alone, is Destiny
For, He, when whole, is Life
