The doors were locked shut.
The windows all covered up.
Not a soul could get in.
Not a soul could come out.
 
Creeping, creeping,
Slowly seeping
Into her brain, her mind!
And it stayed there, IT STAYED THERE!
All of the time.
 
She cried and she screamed
“Get it out of me!”
But that monster would not budge
But she is afraid that she did misjudge
 The ferocity, the strength
Of that devilish thing
For this thing is more fearsome
Than any of her worst dreams.
 
She panics, she is afraid
That this thing, will one day
Drive her well insane.
 
And this is why she picks the blade
To help take it away.
Because she hopes, she prays

That things will be like the good old days
