This is for Miz Lemon's challenge. I was assigned "We Intertwined" by the Hush Sound.

I have a simile.
I think i have an allusion.
I used a line that was pretty much like a line in the song.

I have noticed that I seem to be lapsing into phrases of rhyming, but only in little bits and pieces of the poem. I don't do it intentionally, but I can't seem to change it. The poem seems so right the way it is - despite the fact that some parts rhyme and others don't.

So, sorry if that kind of annoys you. I'll try my best to stop. =)

Enjoy,
Liz

You were together
Just you and he
Wondrous bliss
Just you and he

The ground was soft,
Like satin sheets.
The sky was bright,
The perfect time

He woke up,
But where were you?
Gone, gone, gone
Just him, himself, and he

Panic, distress,
Oh, God, how he was scared!
He looked,
And looked,
And looked
But you weren’t there. . .

With a saddened heart,
And merciless lies,
He begin to search for her
In the land, and in his mind.

Was she real?
She felt too true,
He felt too true,
They felt too true
To be a coincidence.

Alas, he may never know
He drowns himself in misery,
Dying because of something
That probably never could be
