being a child, i keep look forward to my birthday, can't wait to add another year to my life.  can't wait to claim that soon i'll be a grown-up.  why is it taking so long for my age to reach ten.  people would still say that i'm too small and too plain.  once i grow up, i will make my dreams come true. i'll be independent, everything will be new.  i can't recall since when, i had change my point of view. perhaps when years fly too fast, years keep adding, i just want to stop counting.  the dreams just vanished, it left no trace. can i ask time to take it slow since i can't ask it to give back life's glow.
