I question life a lot, like others do.

I am sitting once again

In a room completely empty

Here I am with nothing in my hands

Trying to remember what happened to me

All these thoughts inside my head

Weigh heavy on my heart

And all the things you had said

Keep me up late at night

Wondering who I am or will be

Is this my future?

Is this part of the equation?

Will I ever calm this restless spirit?

Trying my best to fit in

But what is this feeling?

That no one can explain?

Confusion’s fury takes it toll

On my sanity

Is this me?

I ask a lot of questions

Wanting to know about this world

I’m not young or old

I’m stuck in between

I’m fifteen but nineteen

At the same time

Why don’t my words rhyme

Why can’t I make sense?

No one seems to understand

The things I comprehend
