In this poem I am responding to the stress I tend to encounter a lot...the reality of love, not the blinding fury of confusion.

There once was a polar bear

Who'd give anything to go anyhwhere

There was aslo a panda

Who thought no one in the world would care

He watched though the bamboo

She watched throught the ice cubes

Hoping there was something they could share

She wanted to love again

He wanted a lover and a friend

They laughed and played for awhile

Then panda began to lose her smile

Polar bear didn't know what to do

Panda just sadly mewed

Polar bear became just as sad

Remebering what he once had

He comforted her the best he could

She still cried, she's still confused

She understands she loves him

But wants something more.

She knows nothing of what it is.
