What happened to the love

What happened the trust

Was it really love

Or was it really lust?

Did you ever look back?

Did you ever see

What’s inside of me

What your kisses

Do to me?

Or would you rather see me fall?

Did we ever love at all?

The drums beat faster

Pounding the plaster

Against the stained white walls

Thoughts evading

Sight concaving

Scream while you fall

It sounded easy

Makes me queasy

When you don’t utter a sound

I wanna fly so high

Don't want to come down

I want to get off this ground.
