All around lay the dying and dead
All around the crows feasted and fed
On that great battle field
Where their lives did they yield
Lay the corpses of ten thousand men
Who shall never be heard from again
All around lay the dying and dead
All around the crows feast and fed
The grass red ever more
The ground stained from the gore
Thousands of crows and ravens
Descended from the heavens o’er head
Whilst all the survivors and the cravens
Watched the flock swoop down on the dead
All around lay the dead and dying
All around the crows feasted and fed
Some of the wounded still lay crying
As the crows stained there beaks red
Broken shields and broken men
Scattered across broken battleground
Broken for they would not bend
Only death on that day had they found
All around lay the dead and dying
All around lie the dying and dead
All around lay the wounded men crying
All around the crows feasted and fed
