This is a poem that I wrote for my Fiancee and used her favorite flower as a metaphor for her beauty.

Looking out my window in my livingroom,

Staring at the pink roses beauty as they bloom,

I continue staring until I gaze at the lake,

This must be a dream because it seems to real,

Then I woke up and my heart started to feel that it was fake.

I came back to my full consciousness and I was awake,

Yet again realizing my love from my was at stake,

I can't lose her, I love her, I have nobody else,

And she is the only woman who makes my heart melt.

The house door swings open and it was her,

She went upstairs packing her suitcase and purse,

It kills me knowing that this could be,

That my wife has had enough and is leaving me.

I will no longer stare at the pink roses or the lake,

You are who I want to lay next to dead or awake,

To me she is more beautiful then the lake or a pink rose,

So I pray to God everyday for you not to go.
