I always wonder how the cloud’s tale spun
Its dreamy thread around my head,
My eyes see nothing but the blur
In this world… I wonder if it exists?
I notice all the movements circling me,
Touching me, almost like a whisper
Urging, tempting me to fall,
But the colours I touch go through me
And I remain here
Unable to move, unable to direct myself;
The whirlwind around me
Seems to blind momentarily
And I die, I think
At my brief helplessness,
While the cloud continues to cry
As the wind flew past me;
Now the story is overwhelming,
Too much for me to bear,
This unrealistic reality swims undeterred
Under my skin, under the sun,
It drowns me in white created from all
Other hues that seep into me as I twist.
I can no longer see myself; the cloud
Embraces me… wanting to keep me in its being,
But I fall. Down… down… down…
Onto the soft lash of my soul.
