Like your first love, everyone remembers their first car. The feelings are just as strong and memorable.

When I was just twenty years old

My very first ride; a ‘68 Camaro

My car had speed and a lot of style

Cruised the block going fifteen miles

Interior had leather bound bucket seats

Leaned way back and bounced to the beat

Nice big rims with chromed out spokes

Eight track player that was really stoked

Shined that beauty every chance I got

Even in the shade when it got too hot

Then I had my first accident

Hit a jersey wall; “A” frame was bent

“The car is totaled”, was the final word

Traded it in for a new firebird
