A real feel-good poem I wrote instead of the dreary ones I usually write. I love it, personally... oh, so modest me!

This tiny cell, this dreary hole is where I live,And no matter how hard I try, no matter how much I give,I will never be accepted for who I am: unique,My true character nobody knows, I am shrouded by mystique. Yet, hope shines around the corner like a beacon of light,No, I shall not give up without a fight! So young, so fragile, so hopeful, so true,And so long have I to live, I must get through! So I’ll emerge from my shadows, burst out from this bubble,And all that will be left is a pile of dark rubble,I am truly invincible; I will succeed in life,No matter how much trouble and how much strife. I will be what I want to be, I will have all that’s mine,I am beautiful, I am who I am, and that’s just fine!We are all perfect; for who could be a better you that you?So be true to your heart, your time is due.
