Ladies often overcrowd their natural beauty through the presence of cosmetics, but do they actually need the blemish?

Nails done, hair done, everything done,

oh you fancy huh?

Mac and Sephora…

L’Oreal and Covergirl…

Got you all convinced and it’s evident,

that you’ll meet your crown prince,

if you cherish the blemish, out of selfishness ,

on the curvatures of your elegant structure.

The beauty of your skin,

yet you see it’s skin deep.

how it needs to be redefined,

since you’re never satisfied.

instead you blacken the eyeliners,

eye shadows and mascara ,

put some actions on the lip, lipsticks.

But as your lip gloss is popping,

you blend the intermix in a step of 1, 2, 3

foundations and powder,

concealers on your configurations,

like an architectural fabrication.

But last time I checked,

ladies aren’t figurines…

So why portray what we see on the blue screen?

Your confidence is lacking,

evident in ego,

perturbed self esteem

supported by the lotions and the cream,

this seems like a damn theme ,

for every single teen,

how there’s balance on the beam,

with sudden make-up and blemish,

covering up their supposed flaws,

but do you see any applause?

But you’re not to blame?

The male’s societal expectations are beyond representation,

in which there’s great determination to find ideal qualifications,

leaving them no considerations in their evaluations…

The size zero waist, nothing but slim,

nice round hips of luscious abyss,

C-cup chest, nothing but the best.

You’ve always been surrounded,

grounded, by the constant pressure,

fresher from the first and better than the next,

and on a bet, you’re pretty perplexed…

But see…

The elegance of the natural beauty,

is something of individual possession,

in which the projection of your image,

should always be granted with affection,

you worry so much on the physical,

you forget the mythical beauty

of the biblical text, in Psalm 139:14,

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

You dwell in dreams, pondering up schemes,

but when you hit realization,

You finally see…

You are an astounding element

created for fated compliment.

Not upon the size of your chest,

the shape of your hips,

the color of your eyes,

the length of your hair,

or the structure of your physique.

But by the simple grace of your morale,

the laughter in your humor,

the inspiring tells of your tales

the flirtation in your conversations,

and the presence of your love.
