It's not spying

When you shove it

Right in front of my eyes.

Why you want me to see

You without me

I don't know.

But the pictures roll

And you continue to scroll

Down the screen.

The Interweb has failed again

The connection long lost.

Because it's not anger

That bubbles up

As friends don't reach out

As friends move on

As friends forget me

It's loneliness

Abandonment

But it's a smile

On my face

When they

Look back

Out of pity.
