Although the speaker in this poem is, once again, in first person it isn't as much about me as it is about how I perceive the humanity as whole. I went through great trouble translating this one while succeeding to keep both message and structure intact.

There was a time I tried to thrive

And to cast my pride aside

There was a time I was dying to die

And to undermine my life

There was a day I played no games

And a day I remained the same

There was yet a day I had to pay

For the mistakes that I had made

There will come a time I'll buy  my lies

Even a time I'll rise to fight

There will come a day I'll make my way

Through the trails that I have paved
