Why do I desire you?
What makes me yearn?
This pure lust,
Should never direct itself.

This lust,
Has transformed.
From something so,
Cryptic, aphotic, surperior,
To something light, obsessive, pure.

We're moments of passion,
Specs in the night.
So why do I want you?
Why do I want more from you?

You use to touch me roughly,
Not caring whether I hurt.
Now you're so gentle,
Kind.

Why do you do this to me,
Why haven't you left yet?
The longer you stay,
The more I want to keep you.

But I can't.

For you will never love,
And I will never be loved.
What makes you stay?

Do we feel each other?
Do you miss me,
Like I miss you?

Don't tell me what's to come,
For I already know how it ends.

I shall go way of all flesh,
Before I let you tell me,
Those crucial three words,
The words of death.

As soon as I give in,
And become content,
I'll begin to hate,
That one word,
I've once expected to hear.

I don't want to need you,
I don't want to have you,
I don't want to reach for you,
I don't want your love.
