“She Has”
She has the face of,
Summer,
Her fair skin,
Lightly tanned,
Bringing out,
The kind of freckles,
You can only get,
From being kissed,
By the sun.
Her sincerity,
Shows,
Not only in her,
Eyes,
But also,
In her care free,
Uplifting words.
She carries,
A spark of,
Innocence,
With her,
As she,
Starts you out,
With a smile,
Standing close,
Her eyes locked,
With yours,
Nodding her head,
With a constant change,
Of expression,
Showing she is,
Genuinely,
Interested,
In what you have to say.
You want to,
Continue talking,
The attention,
You’re receiving from her,
Is intoxicating.
Though,
She makes you feel,
Special,
Important to her,
You know,
You’re not the exception,
She treats everyone,
In the same,
Honest and open manner.
Her exuberance,
Gushes forth,
Effortlessly,
You can’t help,
But feel,
Energized,
As she bounces away,
Down the hall.
You don’t even realize,
You’re smiling,
As all those,
Good vibrations,
She’s bringing you,
Continue to,
Linger on,
Long after,
This girl,
Is,
Gone…

Brilliantly told as always, Tom. Great character-building with the girl; I had a pretty good picture of her in my mind!
