A Flash In The Pan

Uncle Johnno asks Claw if he's heard the other one I

listen to, Bob Dylan. " Ya call that singin' ? " Uncle Johnno

asks, " He sounds like something the cat brought in and

felt to sick at the sight of it to eat it. It's all The Beatles

fault! " He tells Claw that you'd think with all the money

The Beatles have conned off people they'd get a decent

haircut.

Uncle Johnno gives Claw his bottle of beer to have a

swig from, and tells him that someone should  give all

of them, The Beatles, and all their fans short back and

sides, and throw them in the army to make men out of

them, to stop them being girls.

They're all a pack of bludgers he says, lazy good for

nothings, The Beatles and their fans, but it don't matter

Uncle Johnno says, they won't last long, they're just a flash

in the pan, they ain't got not talent, they won't last.

And Claw reckons that Uncle Johhno's right, they won't

last as long as Elvis, he's been 'round a long time 'cause

he's got talent, and The Beatles ain't, it's just all their

fault, the stuff that Uncle Johnno's been talking about.
