Maya's Drugs

Mr Shadows's going to end up in hospital on a drip

again, he's been drinking worse lately. He's been

drinking heavy since Maya's death, and he's got worse

and worse. He's got no control over it now, he's never

sober. The doctors told him when he was in hospital

that it would kill him, but he doesn't care.

Claw's in the kitchen having a cup of coffee and talking...

  - You know I've been thinking, I'm sick of wiping myself out

on the grog we steal from Mr Shadow, I'd rather have

some of that stuff they gave me in hospital, when I was

in pain, before they gave me this " claw " it was great. Felt

like I was in heaven.

- You still going there are you?

- Going where?

- Heaven you prick! Like your parents.

- Yeh, sure. No I'm fucking serious. I'd really like some of

that stuff they gave me in hospital, it beats grog anyday.

- It's addictive isn't it?

- I don't know, is it? By the way Mr Shadow hits the grog

I reckon that must be addictive too.

- Maybe, anyhow how are you going to get hold of that

stuff?

- Well I figured Maya would have had some when she was

dying of cancer.

- Well she used to have something that was pretty strong, I

know that. But what's that got to do with it?

- I've been thinking maybe there's some left in the house.

- Come on Claw, that was over three years ago. Mr

Shadow would've chucked it out by now, if there had been

any.

- I don't know he seems to be interested in his grog too much

to be bothered  with cleaning up.

Claw starts looking in all the kitchen cupboards, and all

the bathroom drawers and cupboards, but he doesn't find

anything.

- No Claw I told you there was nothing here.

- I don't know, I still bet you there is.

- Where then?

And then Claw looks up to a couple of cupboards that he

hasn't searched, high up on the kitchen wall. They look

like they haven't been open for years...
