Migraine Paintings
A community nurse is coming tomorrow
morning to change my brain. Every six weeks
it needs to be replaced with a new one.
It was deciced by the doctors, that ever
since I started to paint paintings of migraines,
and exhibit them in the local church hall,
that all was not well with my cerebral activities.
That my brain needed to be replaced on a
regular basis. I hope all goes well tomorrow...
Last time a community nurse came, she
accidently looked at one of my paintings,
and saw the clear white light filled with
beautiful zig-zag butterflies.
She was ecstatic till the pain of the headache
came, and she ripped out her eyes with
her professionally sculptured fingernails,
and ran off screaming.
Consequently my brain never got changed
that day...I just hope all goes well tomorrow,
I've got several new paintings to be viewed...

I love this. This was a delightfully beautiful and funny story. As a migraine sufferer myself, I really connected with this. Well done!

I think Edward Munch had the same thing as you when he painted, "The Scream".

Maybe so 88, he used to whip his paintings when they wouldn't behave!
