Sickness

Claw comes 'round after we finish Christmas lunch

and we go outside and play cricket. I like playing

cricket, and football in the winter when it's not raining,

but Claw would rather watch T.V. most of the time,

but Mr Shadow walks in on him a lot when he's

watching T.V. by himself and he calls him a bludger,

and tells him to go outside and play with me.

Maya won't let me play football in the rain. She says

she's scared I'll get asthma like my sister Ann has.

Ann had a bad attack the other day when Mr Shadow

went in to see her. Ann yelled at him to get out. I could

hear her  so I went up to near her bedroom to see what

the noise was all about.

Mr Shadow put his hand on her, and she nearly

stopped breathing. Then Maya came in by accident and

screamed at Mr Shadow, " You filthy man! " And she

noticed I was hiding 'round the corner, and she

screamed at me too, telling me to go outside and make

myself useful.

Maya used to get pretty sick  from the disease the

Commos gave her, but she's a lot better now. She

used to get it a lot worse when she had to sleep in

the same bedroom as Mr Shadow.

I don't know why she says the rain makes you sick,

it seems to me that Mr Shadow does. I try not to get

to close to him.
