The Hilltribes
Auntie Mary has run out of opium, so she's drinking
again, she tells me lots of new stories as she sits at
her laminex kitchen table. She tells me about how she
used to live with the Hill Tribes, and she places one of
her ornate head-dresses on her head to show me, to
prove that her stories are true.
She tells me, " Mr Shadow thought I was bloody crazy
Jasper when I told him I was going to leave him with
Maya and live with the Hill Tribes for awhile. Of course this
was before you were born Jasper, long before you were
born.
But I'd had enough of Mr Shadow's love for awhile, I'd
had enough of his boring love. So I went and joined the
Hill Tribes to learn from them, To learn their Tantric
secrets Jasper. Mr Shadow said I was off my rocker to
leave him and join the Hill Tribes, he said they were dirty
and worthless, less than bloody animals he said, and he
should know he said, 'cause he had to fight them
during the war.
But I knew different, I knew I could learn alot about life
and death from them. Anyhow I knew I could always
come back if things didn't work out, he wasn't going to
kick me out of bed. And course I did Jasper, that's why
you're here Jasper. "
