The Peeper

He peeped

Into an old forgotten wharehouse,

Where God, Buddha, Jesus,

And someother misguided individuals

Lived their solitary existence,

Which was of no use to anyone,

They were not even worthy of a bit part

On a television commercial.

Their obsolete discarded hands and limbs

Were contorted by the early morning sunlight,

Their flesh rusted in the early morning glare,

Thrown away with their dreams and visions.

They had built in obsolescence,

They were beyound repair.

They had lacerations and bruises,

Severed limbs

And tremors.

He turned away from viewing them,

They were in another time,

They were of no good to him.

He adjusted his telescope,

His syringe,

And released the warm sleepy ocean

Into his blood.
