Christmas will never be the same in Berkley ever again. After the death of Jamie McKenzie in a tragic car accident, it seems that his friends and family will never come to grips with life without him. Jamie’s best friends’, Isobel Summers and Allie Sanchez, and his brother, Alan McKenzie struggle to maintain what little bit of sanity they have left, until Isobel can’t seem to take it anymore and leaves Berkley, not realising that she is not only leaving her greatest friends behind but also her first chance at love as well.

Two years later and Isobel has come back to a much changed town to the one she left. Everyone is trying to move on but they still cling to the past. Alan is engaged to be married to a city girl who doesn't seem to know him at all, Allie has lost all confidence she had in herself and is now insecure about her body image while Isobel is struggling to remember who she is.

Everybody seems to be pulling away from one another heading in some different way towards the same catastrophe but the one thing that is holding them together is the love they had for the late Jamie.
An experience like this will either bring the town closer together or simply tear them apart. Which one will it be?
