The faint uncertainty persists
With quiet voice against
Those other raucous two
Named Wait and Act.

They struggle, eminent,
The raging Armies crashing:
Calm progression defies reckless abandon.

Into the storm she comes,
Amid the lightning Blue lightning
And the rushing raging waves,
Bruise-purple clouds like wafting oil:

In the turbulent darkling,
Black on White, the Storm Queen.

She smiles it all away.
And I am filled with gentle joy.

My focus has grown smaller
Doubt’s troops at least are fallen
All their banners burnt.

But choose the coward’s way,
At least for now,
Do not risk Chaos new.
