Freedom, the breath of America, means to me what can only be announced by the heart. Freedom is more than just a simple word, for it is a state of being that allows oneself to be themselves. With pride, many of us who live the “Land of the Free” fight now, always have and always will, for the independence that both makes us equal and unique. We use this freedom as wise as we can and put our own lives on the line to share with others the hope it brings.

What is there to be thankful for? To be thankful for significant beauty... Not only freedom to mankind, but for mankind itself. To be born a human, with a brain of strong intellect and characteristics that makes us who we all are, not only as our own selves but as one altogether. Yes we were born human, given the gift of genius talents and creations. So why not just appreciate it, pride and liberty that serves within this gift, as a hand to hold us steady?

Freedom is the music that not only I, but many others, dance to. A melody so strong that unites us all to acknowledge the beat it sings. And not a song of morbidity forced upon us as a nation, but a song of Glory and Pride that sways us with its beauty of Rights. As where I stand now, with the life I am currently living, I am grateful for the freedom I, and many others, am given.

Freedom means to me what I decide.
