Summary

To all you who read this, the last few lines may be over exaggerating a bit for me but I wanted to make it more relatable for others.

I understand why the sky is blue,

I understand why birds sing,

I even understand why the earth circles the sun,

But I don’t understand why every day,

Every day,

Every day,

I suffer.

The insignificant,

Thought provoking comments,

Can eat away your day,

Like a piece of paper,

Being fizzled away,

Because a kid was playing with fire,

An element he knew nothing of,

My soul has weakened,

Turned to ash,

Then reincarnated itself.

The kids that play with fire,

Learn how it works,

Learn what makes it grow,

Becomes close friends with it,

And will strike again,

Again,

And again,

Until my soul is turned to ash eternally,

My soul that will be no more.
