Everyone in Violet Ville was all over Dahlia. Dahlia was the most popular girl in town. Every day, she'd have to stop what she was doing and give autographs. The town loved her. She was known for being able to hula-hoop the longest. She could hula-hoop for almost 15 minutes! Everyone was impressed. That's why everyone loved her. Dahlia felt honored to be the most popular in Violet Ville. Although, it was kind of hard with everyone knowing you. Wherever she went, in only 2 minutes, there would already be a huge crowd around her. So it was good and bad at the same time. It was just hard to get some privacy and alone time. No matter where she was, people would see her. It could be in any store, any place to eat, the bank, the park, the streets, and pretty much every building in town. Dahlia went to bed one night hoping that the next day she wouldn't have to sign any autographs, it hurt her hand from all that writing. Dahlia sometimes doesn't enjoy being popular. It was hard to get the alone time that she needed. Sometimes she wished that she wasn't that popular.

When Dahlia went to Amy's Finest Diner the next morning, she was surprised to see that nobody asked her for any autographs. Then she spotted the Travis family eating breakfast and she thought she should go talk to them. "Hey guys, how was that big soccer game last night? Did you win?" Dahlia asked them. The Travis family had puzzled looks on their faces. Mrs. Travis asked, "Do we know you? How did you know that my son had a big football game last night?" Now Dahlia was confused. "I'm Dahlia! I'm the one who can hula-hoop for 15 minutes. How do you not know me? I'm like the most popular one in town, not trying to brag but it's true," she said. "Nobody named Dahlia lives here, and nobody around here can hula-hoop. Well, next time leave us alone," Mrs. Travis said. Dahlia was confused. She thought maybe they were tricking her.

It seemed like nobody knew who she was now. Nobody was asking for autographs, when Dahlia tried to talk to people, they gave her weird stares. She had no idea what was going on. She decided to go to Stephanie's house, one of her really good friends here. She was sure that she would recognize Dahlia. Dahlia knocked on Stephanie's door, and Stephanie said, "Can I help you?" " Hi Stephanie, I haven't seen you in a while! I need to talk to you, something strange is going on..." Stephanie freaked out. "How do you know my name? Who are you?" And Stephanie slammed the door. Dahlia decided she should talk to her parents. How would they not know her?

But when Dahlia went upstairs to find her parents, her mom saw her and freaked out more than Stephanie did earlier. "Who are you?! How did you get in here? Why are you in my house? Get out of here!" she screamed. Dahlia was freaking out now. "What is going on today? How come all of a sudden nobody knows me? Your my mom!" said Dahlia."I have never had a daughter before. I only have 1 son named Jeffery." "What! You replaced me!" screamed Dahlia. Her mom couldn't take it anymore. "Just leave!" So Dahlia decided to go to the park by herself.

Dahlia was wondering why nobody knew her. Then she remembered...She had made a wish last night to be a little less popular. But she meant that a little bit more people wouldn't know her. She didn't mean for everyone to not know her at all, including her family. Suddenly, Dahlia wished she was popular again. It will be hard and crazy, but at least she will have her family back. She didn't know where to sleep, since her family kicked her out. She found a mattress in a dumpster, but it didn't have blankets or pillows. It was worth it though, and then she fell asleep.

When Dahlia woke up the next morning, she wasn't in the dumpster anymore, she was in her room. And not Jeffery's room. Was that all a dream? she thought. She went over to her parents to see if they knew her. "Good morning, Dahlia!" her mom said with a smile. Dahlia smiled back, happy that people knew her now, and gave her a big hug.
