Who is left to clean up the mess

Poem by: Trainman238

Summary

This is a song I wrote a long, long time ago and I recently found it.
This really doesn't describe anything about who I am today,
but I figured I would post it anyway.

I don’t know how to love
I don’t know who to trust.
My heart is gone,
Dissolved into nonexistence.
But yet I still felt the deep,
Stabbing pain when you said
That this is the end?
How can it be
That we live these lives,
So dark and secretive,
So full of hate and distrust?
How can I feel so empty and lost?
We've no more blood to bleed,
Yet it covers our hands?
Why are we so sad,
When we caused this?
Who is left to clean up the mess?
Never have I felt so alone,
Never have I felt so gone.
