Humiliation fills you with lava, making your checks turn red

The pointing, the laughing, it follows you everywhere

It's raining inside, there must be a hole in the roof

Then you realize it's your eyes making the rain

The see the tears and falter, wondering if they should continue the taunting

Some back out, whispering their apoligies

Others stay on the bull, they were going to ride it to the end

The small nudges and the baby talk of "Whose a wittle baby now?" comes next

I stand starring at you, so scared and alone

I take a hesitant step forward, then another

Suddenly I hurtle at your attackers, screaming at the top of my lungs

They look at me, then go back to you

"How dare you?" I sceach

A teacher walks by starring at us, wondering if they should interfer

Your attackers back away

I yell after them "Hide behind your cruel words

You're just like us

Trying to fit in where you don't belong

You don't have to be a jerk to get friends!"

The leader looks at us, truley puzzeled then says

"That's what you think, and look where it has gotten you."

How can anyone be so blind?

This is where I belong,

Next to you

I am a miss-fit and proud

I am happy where I am
