Waiting for my pretzels
"hello" from behind me
"hello" back to the woman.
We know each other in passing
having exchanged greetings before
a little flirting at times
but nothing further,
"you`re really cute but
I`m old enough to be your mother."
I think for a second then respond,
" you`re really nice looking too,
maybe some day..."

I like my pretzels
with deli mustard
I didn`t mention that I
am way older than she is.
