Watching the sunrise this morning
it`s progress impeded by clouds
shafts of light spread in all directions
until light and warmth covered all.
I have no understanding
of how you can see something like this
and be oblivious to it`s beauty
instead only worried about getting to work.
It was worth being late for
after all, your job
will be right where you left it.
