Spent time at the hospital today

waiting for someone else

there`s two types of people there

the sick and those pretending

not to be sick.

The sick want to sleep

until they die or go home

the pretenders suffer boredom

to prove they care.

There`s an older gentleman four seats away

listening to an ipod

I can hear the salsa from here

I hope they take him soon

he`s freaking me out,

I want the room to myself

I have my own shit to deal with

and I prefer to do it alone

so I can nap.
