Own Given Name
My birth name that was given by Kathleen Mary Mihm. My birth name is Trenton Scott Mihm. However, four days later I was adopted though Child Saving Institute, which it is locate in Omaha, Nebraska. My adopted parents' names are Steve and Barb Bauermeister and they legal change my birth name to Michael Steven Bauermeister. I also gone by that and still am and go by that.
However, on my 37th birthday I got small wake up in my life. I had decided to contact Child Saving Institute and they have introduction me about them after adopted services and the cost that is relate to those services. They have also given me some free information how to retrieve your original birth name though Vital Records of Nebraska. Therefore, I decided to fill out the needed paperwork to receive that information and submit it with an $11.00 fee to process the application. It had toke about six weeks to process the paperwork and receive my birth name birth certificate.
After, I received the paperwork I went back to the CSI and I explain to them what I say. I told them I want to do DNA test and contact my birth mom. During the conversation, that I had with them they told me there is fee to do a basic birth information and I agree to pay the fee for it. I thought it would take some time to process the paperwork. However, I never receive any respond from them so I decided to put some pressure on them. From that, I receive two-page basic medical information and some birth parents background.
However, the time passed after I receive the information from the state. I am started to go by my birth name. However, it brings up many issues with that because for most of my life I have gone by my adopted name. I want people that know me and all the I had done I still want be connect with both of my names.
I think the best way to solve my problem is to merge both my name, as one so be something like Michael-Trenton Steven-Scott Bauermeister-Mihm or Trenton-Michael Scott-Steven Mihm-Bauermeister. I wish my name were never change in the first place.
