Come to me mother!
Come to me as I call
Though I don’t know you
I feel you are close to me
Come to me mother
And catch me as I fall

This place where I am
I hear the sound of your voice
And the echoes of your footsteps
Reverberating in my head
Shouting!….. Screaming!
Breathless and dead inside
You see what you’ve made be become?

The joy turns to hurt
As I remember the memories
Engraved into my mind
And took me back to when I was nine
The silence around us
The whispers I recall
Although I remember the times we had
I would have never thought
In my mind you would become faceless
It’s just that you were young and careless
I want to resent you
But my heart wont let me

Come to me mother!
Come to me as I call
Though I don’t know you
I feel you are close to me
Come to me mother
And catch me as I fall

What was I suppose to do
But sit and wait for you to return
I was overwhelmed with confusion
And lived in an illusion
That you were my mother still
I was scared and alone
And remained confounded
Puzzled with different emotions
But one seems clear
And it’s that I love you
