This is a poem I wrote about Suicide that I came up with after reading several online stories. I tried to pull on the emotions of certain characters and channel them into the unspoken words they never relay.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a TEMPORARY problem and is never the answer to life hardship

Shouders of strain start to crumble under pressure

As the uncertain voyage of life rages on

Knees begin to quiver as you can't take much more

Like walking through a tunnel and never reaching the other side

Cannon fire breaches your sanity

The blades of the war within clash on

Tearing into the depths of your soul

Leaving behind pieces of the portrait once known as you

To never quite fit together again

It's like a whisper to a scream

The trapped cries of defeat scorch your throat

Caressing the bars that imprision them

There is no escape

Leaving all around to look but never see

To hear but never listen

Anguished tendrils of pain and anger grip your consciousness in the night

The daylight of ease never reaching you

A masked figure enters to room menacing, pacing

Shadowed eyes of finality sweep the area

You raise your hand, decide it's your turn

But it doesn't have to be

We all know life is like a math class

There's never one solution to every problem
