This is just an idea I had. I'm just putting a little bit. If I get enough positive comments then I'll write a full novel.

 Light Riders

Crap. I lost my ride, I thought trying to get it back as I hurtled to the Earth. Come on. Come on.

I was about about to hit the Earth when someone caught me. I looked to see who it was.

"Thanks for saving me Shatang," I said to my brother as he set me down.

"No problemo sis," he said his heterochromic eyes mirroring mine. "That was a close one. Why were you up so high. You know you've been losing your ride lately."

"The NLR was chasing me" I answered.

He nodded his head in an understanding way. "I know what you mean."

We stared at each other for a minute.

"I should get going. I need to go meet Deth," I told him.

I caught my ride and left.

Within seconds I was at our meeting spot. I spotted Deth's spiky blonde hair hiding in the bushes. I could barley make out the brown underneath. Why did he have to bleach his beautiful brown hair.

At least he wasn't like all the other humans. All the humans did was hunt the light riders down or change everything about themselves by changing hair color and eye color. There were only about 4 people who didn't hunt us light riders down.

You're probably wondering what the heck I'm talking about. I'll explain.

First off the world has very little light left. The sky is always black as if it's nighttime. There are very few stars. There was this thing that happened called the explosion. The explosion destroyed most of the stars making it so there was only a little bit of light. Ever since the explosion there have been people who glow. They're called light riders. I'm a light rider. The light riders are hunted by the NLR. The NLR stands for No Light Riders.

Are you keeping up? Good because here comes the strange part. Light riders ride the light. We don't know how but we do. It makes it so that we go the speed of light.

Thats what Deth and I are working on. He's my partner. So far we've tried about 200 different things to make it so humans can ride the light. Nothing has worked. Not yet at least. I could feel we were close.
