Confesson

In every core of her heart, she still remembers him,

His memory is sharp and still, and that’s never a whim.

She has a lot of admirers, who she calls her friend,

But to her he was the only one, the one and only God-send.

In a distant land far away, sitting with a paper and pen -

I do not know in her land, whether it’s shine or rain,

But days ago I heard her voice, speaking to me as known,

Telling me what true love is like, a thorn or a throne.

On that day I did know well, her mind in him was lost -

And don’t you ask where I was, my heart was cold in frost!

I’ve grown now a deeper insight, what really I am to her,

But yes I know I am not him, whom she loves forever

So just right now I will put down, my pen beside that book,

The book that still crudely give, to me a Convicted look.
