It’s midnight and I’m still awake,

Aware of dreaming with open eyes,

Feeling like in a mid of a mild quake.

The moon is desperate to fade --

Annoyed with me again and again,

While I’m still willing to shed --

The memories of recent past ingrained in me,

Those that are cutting me with a lonesome blade!

The stars are willing to escape beneath the clouds’ shelter,

While I am willing to unheard what the past has said.

May be someone with sleepless eyes --

Thinking of me in a distinct mode,

While I’m holding the innermost core of the suppressed cries!
