The Room

In the middle of the room she was waiting --

Waiting for me along with the mirror;

The mirror which knows my face;

The mirror which knows with whom I be.

In the middle of the room she was waiting --

Waiting for me, wrapped in the linen;

The linen which knows my smell;

The linen which knows what happens every night.

In the middle of the room she was waiting --

Waiting for me, draped in my memories;

The memories which stay in the room;

The memories which hold her in the arms.

In the middle of the room she waits --

Waits for me every dawn and dusk;

And the room resides sometimes outside;

And sometimes it dwells deep within me.

In the middle of myself she waits --

She waits for me along with her room;

The room which knows me more than me;

The room which knows how Me changed to You…
