Unfulfilled Wish

Running towards where she lived,

Trying to fly without wings,

He ended up in a place called nowhere,

And circled round the rings.

Her face was shining in his eyes,

Her sweet voice in his ears,

He wanted to meet her on that day,

He smiled, but only in tears.

Time, like a treacherous being,

Did slit his dreams again,

He wanted to buy some happiness,

But instead he purchased pain.

Waiting amidst the road of life,

He is trying to find his home,

He wanted to be with her in peace,

But fate has made him roam.

He wanted to reign in harmony,

With her – his modest queen,

He wanted a serene life for both,

But destiny had to win.

And so again in darkness doomed,

His heart is dwelling alone,

He is now but a king in hell --

A king without a throne.
