They have finally done it
They have cut me off
They have cut me off-
Redundancy,
That is a fine thing.
A man, etched out by the institution he birthed,
Removed.
Skilled, brilliant man on the brink-

My heart.
Have they cut me off?
They have cut me off-
A fine thing, redundancy-
That a man, skilled, brilliant is
Removed on the brink
They've finally birthed the institution
Etched out the thing.
Done it.

Have they cut me?
Have they finally done it?
They have cut me,
Etched out a man’s heart;
My fine thing.
That skilled and brilliant institution.
Removed what was birthed on the brink.
Of redundancy-

It is brilliant.
The institution is removed, off
The brink,
They have birthed redundancy.
Have they cut me?
Have they cut me?
Etched my fine thing.
Removed my heart.
Finally. It is done.

Redundancy,
Their brilliant man
Skilled in the institution
It was done on the brink.
They have etched it,
Cut it; Finally.
Removed it
His heart, his heart-
He who had birthed a fine heart.
