I'm ashamed of myself. I feel like everyone else is ashamed of me too. I must cleanse myself of my sins, hot water, burn me clean.

Hot water kills a lot of things

But it won't erase my memories

In the violence I'm not what I seem

In the silence I can only scream

I reach to you, my hand you deny

But this is it, we're the souls of our time

The empty water calls to me

It wants me to know its sting

The only thing I know is lost

A silly concept I must have forgot

And it's time to burn my tongue

To remember what I did wrong
