She knows she has to fight, but she doesn't know how

Her mom won't believe he hurt her, but she doesn't know why

She knows she shouldn't cut herself, but she doesn't know if she can stop

She remembers what he did to her, but she doesn't say a word

She wants to run away, but she doesn't know where to go

She wants to die, Heaven or Hell

She wants to go home, but she doesn't know where home is

She wants her family back, but doesn't know if that will ever happen

She wants to forgive them, but she doesn't know if she can

She knows she should tell someone, but who should she tell and will they ever understand

She doesn't tell anyone though

Her sister's boyfriend will hurt her again

She wants her sister to break up with him, but she loves him, why should her life be miserable

She wants to sleep at night, but she knows he is waiting for her

She wishes none of this had ever happened, but time cannot be erased

She wants her life back, but it has already been destroyed

Now it’s nine months later, and it’s a boy

All she hears is him cry, and she cannot sleep

Is this the way life should be

He looks exactly like his father, but is he the same

She tries to give her sister another chance, but it has gone way too far

She locks herself in the bathroom, never to come out again

She slid that knife across her wrist, finally freedom at last

Her mom and dad look for her, and they don't know where she is

They see the bathroom door closed, but they know something's not right

By the time they get in it is already too late

They see a note lying on the floor near the blood

As they read it they started to cry

I am sorry but I can't take it anymore

If only you listened

Now it's too late to save me

Finally her parents believed her

But it was way too late to save her
