FINDING GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW
By: LaToya O'Neal
I often ask myself if there really is gold at the end of a rainbow. Growing up I would always hear the older people say," that it doesn't rain everyday in the same place and when it rain it pours". As a kid I would run with hope of finding the end of the rainbow trust me you will be running forever trying to find the end. Now that I'm older I find myself staring outside after a rain storm in hopes of seeing a rainbow.
My name is Latoya Maria O'Neal, and I'am 34 years old. I have four kids that I love with all of my heart, they are the reason why I try to better myself each and everyday. They are the reason why I keep trying to find the gold at the end of the rainbow. The Bible teaches us that every generation repeats itself, but when it came down to me and my family I disapproved of that statement. It was then that I became the black sheep of the family. There really isn't that much that I remember from my childhood and the memories that I do have I try to forget them. Like every other little girl you would think that I had barbie dolls, nice dresses, cute ponytails, and no worries. Boy ole boy are you dead wrong.
